🐚 Day 9 – First Collection Coming to Life

Today wraps up my Day 1 + Day 2 launch plan, and I’m happy to say… it’s done!

After narrowing down my niche to nursery products I officially kicked off my first mini collection. For my first one, I’m focusing on baby sea animals in soft watercolor style — think turtles, dolphins, and seahorses with a gentle summer touch. It feels both calming and joyful, which is exactly what I want to bring into someone’s nursery.

I also subscribed to Midjourney to start creating the artwork myself. It’s my first paid tool specifically for this Etsy store, and so far, totally worth it. The quality is amazing for what I have in mind, and I’m learning how to guide it with prompts that match my vision.

So far, I’ve exported 5 AI-generated images, then cleaned and personalized them in Canva. These first designs will likely become part of a wall art + matching baby blanket set under a beach theme — something like “Ocean Whispers” or “Summer Baby.”

I’m actually a little ahead of the plan, so tomorrow might be the perfect day to pause, adjust the timeline, and set priorities for the rest of the week.

For now, the creative flow is real, and I’m starting to feel this little Etsy project come to life. Let’s see where it leads 🌊✨
