Day 18: Packing, Publishing, and Putting on the Finishing Touches

Day 18: Packing, Publishing, and Putting on the Finishing Touches

Today, I was physically packing for our trip, mentally unpacking everything I still need to finish before launch.

Views came in here and there—nothing exceptional. No viral moment yet. And I’ll admit, part of me hoped some of my short videos would get more views by now. But another part of me knows that the real wins often come after the launch, not before it. So I’m staying grounded, focused, and grateful that I’ve come this far.

I still have a few critical pieces to polish before I can hit “publish” on KDP:

  The front and back cover

  The intro and outro pages

  The About the Author section

🔄 Final tweaks to the title and subtitle (because being findable on Amazon matters)

I’m realizing how important that cover is—not just in how it looks, but how it positions the book. It’s not just about being beautiful. It’s about being clear, relevant, searchable.
I want moms scrolling through KDP to immediately think, “Oh… this is for me.”

So tomorrow is the big day. My first coloring book will be out in the world. It won’t be perfect. But it will be done. And that’s a huge win in itself.

Even if just a few people find it and love it, I’ll have created something real, something helpful. And that’s a beginning I can build on.
