Day 11 – Two New Personalized Listings & Early Etsy Insights

Today I published two new Etsy listings, both with a personalized name canvas — simple, cute, and made to match the existing neutral safari style. They follow the same soft aesthetic: visible brushstroke textures, clean white background, and the option for customers to pick their initial color. Small additions, but they feel like meaningful steps.

I’ve been watching my stats closely:
27 views, 24 visits, 0 orders.
Honestly? I’m taking that as good news. The click-through rate is really strong — almost everyone who sees the listing clicks. It means the photos, titles, and product idea are working. That’s a win in itself.

Of course, I’m still waiting for the first real sale — that first “cha-ching!” that makes it all feel real. But I’m not discouraged. I know Etsy is part patience, part momentum.

One thing I’m already noticing:
This personalization model, while beautiful and meaningful, comes with a time cost. If several people order at once, I’ll have to manually edit each name, export, and send a message. It’s doable now, but scaling it would need automation or a new system.

Still, that’s a bridge for later. First goal: get one happy customer. Then we tweak, adjust, and grow.

If you’re reading this and trying something similar: keep going. You only need one real person to believe in what you made — and that moment’s closer than you think.
